Three printed copies/sheets of the alphabet in capital letters, followed by punctuation marks and the numbers 0 through 9; all done in a Copper Plate Typeface that was customized by John R. Bowman. Bowman developed this typeface in the early 1960s for use in the Federal Center, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, in downtown Chicago. The font subsequently became the one used by Mies' architectural office.

Paul Gauguin: So Much Light, So Much Mystery (Feb. 8, 1959 WNBQ Production): Sound, ca. 30 min. A film about about the life and work of Paul Gauguin, accompanied by a tour of a Gauguin exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago.

35 mm slides, apparently representing three unrelated sets as follows: 1) Graphs showing results of a scientific experiment probably used in a lecture or presentation on materials fatigue (56 slides), 2) Color images of a precision steel tool or cutting device (38 slides), 3) A camper-type trailer, perhaps a mobile laboratory, color, slide mounts dated 1970 (6 slides).

This collection includes photographs of Illinois governors.
