Description of the Collection
Memo dated Sept. 18, 1945 to "Professor Ludwig Mies van der Rohe" from S. I. Hayakawa. Concerns a request from COOP magazine for architectural photos to be used in an upcoming article. Typed, unsigned memo is the copy sent to Frank Wheeler in Illinois Institute of Technology's News Bureau with a hand written note by Hayakawa (signed "Don") to Wheeler appended. Both S. I. Hayakawa and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe were faculty members of Illinois Institute of Technology when the memo was written.
