Biographical Note

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was Director of the Department of Architecture at Armour Institute of Technology and Illinois Institute of Technology, 1938-1958. A series of events was hosted at IIT during the centennial year 1986 which marked the 100th anniversary of his birth. These Mies van der Rohe Centennial Records represent materials created as part of the campus celebration events.
