Thirty-one page booklet, Bronzeville Digital Stories, containing selected quotes from interviews conducted by Illinois Institute of Technology students with nine African-Americans, who were current and former residents of Chicago's historically black neighborhood. In electronic form, these pages were part of a larger Web document created as the students' final report for their academic project. NOTE: This collection does not contain the full interviews in any form, either electronic or print.

Biographical Note

An IPRO focused on the redevelopment activities of the Bronzeville neighborhood adjacent to campus was offered for several semesters with each team's project building on work done by previous IPROs. The Spring 2000 IPRO involved conducting oral interviews with Bronzeville residents.
