Biographical / Historical

Technology News is the student newspaper of Illinois Institute of Technology, generally published weekly during the school year. A student newspaper published by Armour Institute of Technology from 1928-1939 was also called Tech News, and presumably was the predecessor. For a while, issues were not printed on a regular basis and/or print copies were discontinued and only digital copies were made available. Regular print editions were re-institued in the early 2000s.

The student newspaper of Armour Institute of Technology which carried the same title. IIT's other predecessor school, Lewis Institute, published "The Lewis News" ca. 1935-1939, copies of issues from 1937 and 1938 will be found in the Lewis Institute Records.
