Cigar box with artifacts related to the Armour Institute of Technology and its Press Club. These artifacts include a postcard, athletic numerals, brass tags, and a newpaper clipping. Some items relate to a 1931 Armour Press Club event at which Chicago Tribune journalist Harvey Woodruff was the guest of honor. The items include:

Two "2"s (felt; yellow outlined with black) stapled to a card on which is written "McCaffrey's Freshman 1918 numerals AIT for basketball."
Leather postcard, on front is a drawing of a pennant bearing the name ARMOUR in black and yellow and the date 3/19/07, on reverse is the postmark March 20, 1907 and the address of Miss Charity Potter, 753 N. Water St., Kewanee, Illinois.
Three brass tags (with nail holes on each end of the three; evidently intended for attachment to picture frames) bearing the legends FALL 1907, SPRING 1908, SPRING 1911.
Clipping announcing the February 26, 1931 Press Club event, under date February 24, 1931 with headline "WOODRUFF, TRIBUNE WRITER TO BE GUEST OF HONOR AT ANNUAL PRESS CLUB SMOKER. NOTED HUMORIST TO DISPLAY WIT AND WISDOM TO STAFF MEMBERS OF ARMOUR PUBLICATIONS. SCHOMMER TO RELATE EXPEREICNES."
