Biographical Note
This program was developed from experience gained during the operation of the Remote Job Entry (RJE) System on the IBM 360/40, which frequently used the IITRAN/360 language. The new IMP Version 4.0 was designed to take advantage of the features of the EXEC-8 software as run on the UNIVAC 1108 computer.
